5 years

Yesterday Ty and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary. Here is what our 5 years of marriage has seen, experienced, and accomplished.
- 1 wedding
- 1 trip to Switzerland
- 1 car accident
- 1 cruise
- 1 trip to New York City and D.C.
- 1 finished thesis
- 1 triathlon
- 2 states lived in
- 2 new cars
- 2 graduations
- 2 sibling weddings
- 2 trips to St. George
- 3 kids
- 3 bars passed for Ty
- 3 moves (2 while pregnant, one with a newborn, and all 3 on our own)
- 3 trips to California
- 4 jobs for Jen (MTC the first year, babysitting the second, teaching French the fourth, and now teaching aerobics)
- 4 marathons
- 4 half marathons
- 5 new nieces and nephews (and one coming soon!)
- 10 different callings
- 20 + plants killed
- 26 pillows made (a weird stat, but shows my new found love of crafting, sewing and decorating)
- 32 bins in the garage full of stuff (thank you mom for the majority of it)
- 442 blog entries
- a ridiculous number of trips to Salt Lake, trips to the cabin, new recipes tried, and books read

I think it is funny that this list pretty well sums up our last 5 years. Seems crazy that so much can happen in such a short period of time! I'd like to think that life is going to calm down a little, but I am starting to realize that this is what life is, just one crazy phase followed by another.

How did we go from this:
To this:

in just 5 years? Crazy. I wouldn't trade what we have for anything, but sometimes it sounds nice to be tan and skinny and riding our scooter every Tuesday night to get 3$ sushi. Newlywed life definitely had its perks.
